By day, we work at a national social justice and advocacy organization fighting to ensure every child has access to a high-quality, free public education. By night, we’re just two dads navigating the challenges of LGBTQ parenting and figuring out how Lizzy got peanut butter in her hair again.
Jason is our resident golf guru — a high school golf coach who believes in the power of a good swing and a better snack. He’s the calm in our storm, the spreadsheet master, and the guy who thinks “just one more round” is a valid excuse for being late to dinner.
Nathan is an emerging photographer with a camera roll that’s 90% Lizzy, 5% sunsets, and 5% Jason trying to parallel park. He sees the world through a lens of beauty and chaos — mostly chaos when Lizzy’s involved — and brings the creative spark to our family adventures.
Together, we’re raising Lizzy with love, laughter, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Our parenting podcast is where we share the highs, lows, and hilarious in-betweens of parenting, including our adoption talks, in a world that’s still catching up to families like ours.
